What do i need to do to get at least a C for the whole year in math??

1st and 2nd quarter i got a C. 3rd quarter i got an F.

i don't need a speech, i need to know what i need to get this quarter for my overall average in math to be at least a C.

please! im in danger of going to summer school.

im trying really hard and i think im getting a B.

is that enough?

help!!

What do i need to do to get at least a C for the whole year in math??
A=4

B=3

C=2

D=1

F=0

(2+2+0+x)/4=2

(4+x)/4=2 Doing the arithmetic

4+x = (2)(4) = 8 Multiplying both sides by 4

x = 4 Adding -4 to both sides.

So you need an A this quarter to make up for an F last quarter.

If you get a B (3) this quarter

(2+2+0+3)/4 = 7/4 = 1.75. I don't know your school's standards, but 1.75 %26lt; 2. You might get a C-, but you might also get a D+. In my experience, +and - below C don't count. D+ = D.

Did you talk with your teacher... or academic advisor? They could give you the best information. They know the school's standards. They also in a better position to assess your situation. And they're in a better position to help you.
Reply:extra credit
Reply:you need to do your homework, not talk in class, and study for tests. Then your good to go.
Reply:I understand what you're talking about , i've never liked math...but all you need to do is ask the teacher questions and get the answers to what you need. If you really don't understand what the teacher is talking about ask them to explain it to you and don't be shy, the only way to pass a math class is to understand the formulas to answering a math problem and you're good to go...I hope this helps!
Reply:Well it all depends on the numbers. You can get an average of the percentages and see if it falls within a C's range. Also, you can just focus on the percentage of the F and the percentage of the B. If they average you within the C range then you're safe. If it averages a little bit out of the C range then do my 1st suggestion and see if the other C's pick up some leeway.

Good Luck
