Math Q, can someone help me? Solve for the named variable- 2x+b=c (solve for x)?

I can't remember how to do this, can someone help me?

Solve for the named variable-

2x+b=c (solve for x)

Math Q, can someone help me? Solve for the named variable- 2x+b=c (solve for x)?
Step 1: Subtract b from both sides

2x=c-b

Step 2: Divide both sides by 2

x=(c-b)/2

That's it!
Reply:do you have the variable numbers for a and b???
Reply:2x+b=c (solve for x)

First move all terms containing "x" to one side of the equals and all other terms to the other side.

2x + b - b = c - b

2x = c - b

Now divide both sides of the equation by 2

2x/2 = (c-b)/2

x = (c-b)/2
Reply:2x+b=c

you must first get x by itself

subtract b from ither side

2x+b=c

-b -b

2x=c-b

then divide both sides by 2, so x will be alone

x=c-b/2
Reply:im not sure..but from what i remember i think x=2

but shudnt u know what b %26amp; c = to??
Reply:2x+b=c

2x =c-b

x =(c-b)/2
