If you get a C in community college, say math and if you retake it and get an A. does the C disappear?

if you transfer only to a UC and CSU...california colleges

i dont think so, i think it just helps your GPA

but then again, i could be totally wrong
Reply:I don't believe that it does. Perhaps you can talk with the transfer coordinator at the college that you're currently attending or high school guidance counselor. The 'A' may bring up your gpa (grade point average) and show that you were willing to take the same course to improve your gpa though it most likely remains on your transcript. Courses and gpa's do transfer but a letter grade from a different college does not either and won't average into the gpa of the school in which one transferred to, just fyi.
