Explain why it doent matter which side of a math equation you bring all the values to when determining a,b,c?

such as, Ax(squared)+Bx+C=0 or x=B+/-[B(squared)-4AC]/2A

[ ]=under radical

Explain why it doent matter which side of a math equation you bring all the values to when determining a,b,c?
by the symmetric property of equality we are able to "flip" an equation...for example

0=2x+4 is the same as 2x+4=0

a quadratic equation will work the same way
