hi i was just wondering how i can get b alone on its side to find an answer.
a/(b*c*d)=e/f.
Math question ..a/(b*c*d)=e/f how do i find b?
If a / bcd = e / f, then bcd / a = f / e. (Use the property of proportions: the product of the means equals the product of the extremes.) Either way a x f = (bcd) x e.
If bcd / a = f / e, then bcd = af / e. (Multiplying both sides by a.)
Now multiply both sides by 1 / cd. (This is the same as dividing both sides by cd.) So b = af / ecd.
Reply:a/(b*c*d)=e/f
af/cde=b
